The Elsach is a right tributary of the Erin's on the Swabian Alb in Baden- Württemberg.
Course
The sources of Elsach are located south of grave Stetten. The largest part of the spring water entfließt most of the time in the portal of the Falkensteiner Höhle ( 5-1200 l / s). On dry days the cave creek disappears into swallowing holes and occurs several meters below the cave entrance to light.
A smaller part of the Elsachquellwassers arises only on some days in the opposite Elsachbröller. Another karst spring at the trail parking lot, which was caught in a spring pool, feeds the young Elsach. This then runs along the L211, south-west through the Impaler valley. In Bad Urach it opens from the right in the Erin's.
