Elter Water

Elterwater is a small lake in the Lake District in Cumbria, England. The lake is located southeast of the village of Elterwater in the Great Langdale valley.

The lake is 930 m long and up to 320 m wide and more than 6 meters deep. It has an area of 0.15 km ².

The River Brathay and the Langdale Beck are the tributaries of the lake. The Brathay is his only outlet.
