Emanuel Saldaño

Emanuel Saldaño ( born May 16, 1985, † January 25, 2014 in San Juan ) was an Argentine road racing cyclist.

The " El Chino" said Saldaño won the 2006 the second stage of the Vuelta de San Juan. The next year he was Argentine champion in individual time trial of the U23 class. The Road World Championships 2007 in Stuttgart, he finished the time trial of the U23 class to 46th place and the road race he did not finish. In the 2009 season he won the overall classification of the Giro del Sol San Juan for themselves.

On January 25, 2014 Saldaño died at the Hospital Rawson from the consequences of a car accident. Saldaño was with the cyclist Ernesto Fernández, who in the accident also seriously injured, in a Peugeot partner on the road when this overturned on the Ruta 20 at El Encon south of the city of San Juan.
