Emanuel Villa

Emanuel Villa ( born February 24, 1982 in Casilda, Santa Fe Province), also known by the nickname Tito, is an Argentine football player at the position of the striker.

Life

Emanuel Villa started his professional career in 2001 at CA Huracán, for whom he scored the winning goal in the derby against San Lorenzo on December 9, 2001 among others. The 1-0 victory was the triumph so far only Huracán in San Lorenzo's stadium opened in 1993 Nuevo Gasómetro.

After two years, Villa was sold to Atlético de Rafaela, where he played in the 2003/04 season. After the descent of the club from the First Division at the end of that season, he moved to CA Rosario Central, where he was until 2006 under contract.

For the season 2006/ 07 he moved to Mexican club Atlas, in the second half the same season to its local rivals Tecos de la UAG before he changed, for he went on Torjagd in the Apertura 2007.

In early 2008, he moved for the sum of two million pounds in the English Premier League for Derby County FC, but the descent to the end of the season 2007/ 08 with the meager record of eleven points from 38 games in the second division. After Derby County had finished and the following second division 2008/09 season, only ranked 18th and the Mexican first division team Cruz Azul had made a tempting offer, Villa returned to Mexico and was División Apertura 2009 with 17 -goal top scorer of the Mexican Primera.
