Emanuele Canonica

Emanuele Canonica ( born January 7, 1971 in Moncalieri, Province of Turin ) is an Italian professional golfer on the European Tour. He is one of the best hitters of the tour.

After he won the 1990 Italian Junior Championship and was represented in the victorious national team at the European Youths ' Championship, beating Canonica 1991, the career one.

He qualified in 1994 for the European Tour and has since, despite initial difficulties, a permanent member of this tournament series. Canonica improved its ranking steadily and reached 2000, his best money list position with rank 27, without being able to enter to win. Therefore, in 2004, he wanted to end his career, but family and friends - including the famous footballer Gianluca Vialli - induced him to carry on. Actually managed Canonica 2005 of his first tournament victory in the prestigious Johnnie Walker Championship at Gleneagles.
