Emerse Faé

Emerse Faé ( born January 24, 1984 in Nantes, France ) is a former Ivorian football player. He also holds a French passport.

Club career

The central midfielder comes from the youth department of FC Nantes. At the Club from his hometown he succeeded in the summer of 2003, the leap into the professional squad. In his first season he was equal to 25 missions in Ligue 1 to season 2007/ 08 changed Faé for about 2.5 million pounds for Reading FC and is therefore the most expensive players to the club ever undertook. For the season 2008/ 09 Faé was awarded to OGC Nice.

For the 2009/10 season he was bound by OGC Nice. The Faé mainly employed in Nice in central midfield was in February 2012 end of his career known. Persistent inflammation of the veins in the legs could not be any more competitive sport.

National

In youth emerse Faé played for the French national teams. Amongst others he belonged to that U- 17 team that could win the World Cup 2001 in Trinidad and Tobago.

In 2005 Faé however, opted for the Ivorian national team, and thus for the home of his parents want to accrue. In the Africa Cup in 2006 he was able to reach the final, which they lost to hosts Egypt with the team. In the Africa championships in 2008 and 2010, he was part of the Ivorian squad again

Emerse Faé was also in the Ivory Coast squad for the 2006 World Cup in Germany. In this tournament, however, he did not play.
