Emigrate (band)

Emigrate is a German band from Richard Kruspe, which guitarist and co-founder of Rammstein.

Band History

Emigrate began as a side project Kruspe 2005, when Rammstein lodged a multi-year break. On September 5, 2006 recipients of the Rammstein.de newsletter has been sent an invitation to Emigrate newsletter and thus given the opportunity to download the song Wake Up. Later, other song snippets were offered on the Emigrate site for free download: My World, Babe and Temptation. In a vote, it turned out that Babe was felt by many fans as the best song. November 29, 2006 to the Emigrate newsletter Babe able to fully download on 21 May 2007 was followed by My World.

On 31 August 2007, the self-titled debut album was released. The play My World is on the soundtrack to Resident Evil: Extinction represented. Among the pieces of New York City and My World videos were released.

On April 30, 2013 Kruspe announced on the official website to work on a second album.
