Emil Constantinescu

Emil Constantinescu ( born November 19, 1939 in Tighina, today Moldova) is a Romanian politician and served as 1996-2000 president of the country.

From 1956 to 1960 he attended the Faculty of Law of the University of Bucharest and graduated as a lawyer. From 1961 to 1966, he then attended the Geological- Geographical Faculty and received an additional degree in geology.
