Emilie Högquist
Emilie Sofia Högquist called Aspasia ( born April 29, 1812 in Stockholm, † December 18, 1846 in Turin) was a Swedish actress and mistress of King Oscar I of Sweden.
Life
Emilie Sofia was the only daughter of Anders Högquist, chamberlain of Count Carl De Geer, and his wife Anna Beata Hedvall, as well as the younger sister of the famous Swedish actor Jean Högquist.
Högquist her training at the Royal Dramatic Theatre in Stockholm, beginning in 1828 they debuted and remained until 1831 received the ensemble. She was the most celebrated prima donna of her time and was named Swedish Aspasia.
