Emiri KatÅ
Emiri Katō (Japanese加藤 英美 里, Katō Emiri; * November 26, 1983 in Fussa ) is a Japanese voice actress ( seiyū ) and singer.
Life
Emiri Katō made her training as a voice actor on the Amusement Media Sogo Gakuin, which she completed in 2004; then it was taken by the agency 81 Produce under contract.
Her debut as a voice actress in the same year she had a small role in Kyo kara Mao! and later in the year did the lead role in the children's anime series Nepos Napo. Her breakthrough came 2006/2007 with the role of Akatsutsumi Momoko / Hyper Blossom in Demashita! Powerpuff Girls Z and the Kagami Hiiragi in Lucky Star. For this she was next to Yū Kobayashi honored at the second seiyū Awards 2008 as Best Young Girl. In addition, she was together with Aya Hirano, Kaori Fukuhara, and Aya Endō for the prestressing of them sung title Motteke! Sailor Fuku of the anime Lucky Star Award for Best Singer. In 2012 she was honored at the sixth seiyū awards for Best Speaker in a supporting role.
In 2008 she also began a music career when she released her first studio album in vivid Pony Canyon.
