Emmaboda
Emmaboda is a place ( tätort ) in the Swedish province of Kalmar County, the historical province of Småland. He is the chief town of the same name.
History
The name is first occupied in 1498 as Æmbebode and contains the prefix an old name for the river flowing through the town Lyckebyån, Emån with the old Swedish name Æmb. The suffix boda refers in the plural form to a collection of ( supply ) store.
