Emmanuel Otteh

Emmanuel Nwafo Otteh (* 1927 in Awkuzu; † July 27, 2012 in Onitsha ) was Bishop of Issele - Uku.

Life

Emmanuel Otteh received on 30 July 1961, the ordination.

Pope John Paul II appointed him on 11 June 1990 Titular Bishop of Cova and appointed him auxiliary bishop in the Archdiocese of Onitsha. The President of the Pontifical Council for Interreligious Dialogue, Francis Cardinal Arinze, donated to him on September 2, 1990, the episcopal ordination; Co-consecrators were Stephen Nweke Ezeanya, Archbishop of Onitsha, and Michael Ugwu Eneja, Bishop of Enugu.

On 8 November 1996 he was appointed by John Paul II as Bishop of Issele - Uku. November 14, 2003 Pope John Paul II accepted his resignation age-related.
