The Emmelke in clutter

The Emmelke is a left side ( west ) side of the river Medem in the northern Lower Saxony.

The 15 km long river is part of the river system of the Elbe. It has its source at Wanhöden in the municipality of North wood, then flows in an easterly direction by Wanna and ends at the community Ihlienworth ( Samtgemeinde Hadeln in the district of Cuxhaven ) in the Medem. This in turn opens another 17 km at Otter village in the Elbtrichter.

East of Wanna
