Emperor Gong of Sui

Emperor Gong of Sui Sui or Gongdi (恭帝 侑), birth name Yang You (杨 侑), was the last emperor of China's Sui Dynasty. He reigned from 617 to 618

After his grandfather Emperor Yang had been strangled, Yang You was crowned emperor in Chang'an Gong. However, in reality he was just a puppet of the Regent Li Yuan. A year after the coronation Li Yuan turned against the Emperor, Luoyang took and founded the Tang Dynasty. He let Yang You indeed alive, but the rule of the Sui Dynasty was over.
