Emperor Ninkō

Kaiser Ninko (Japanese仁孝 天皇, Ninko - tennō; * March 16, 1800, † February 21, 1846 ) was the 120th Tennō of Japan ( 1817-1846 ). His proper name was Ayahito (恵 仁). He was a son of Emperor Kokaku and Kanshūji Tadako (勧 修 寺 婧 子).

Kaiser Ninko had seven wives:

  • Empress Takatsukasa Tsunako (鹰 司 繁 子)
  • Empress Takatsukasa Yasuko (鹰 司 祺 子)
  • Ogimachi Naoko (正 亲 町 雅子)
  • Kanroji Kiyoko (甘露寺 妍 子)
  • Hashimoto Tsuneko (桥本 経 子)
  • Nakayama Isako (中山 绩 子)
  • Imaki Tatsuko (今 城 媋 子)

With these he had seven sons and eight daughters. His grave is located in Nochi no Tsukinowa no misasagi (后 月 轮 陵).
