Historians consider it a testament to its historical significance and its dominance over the Kanto region.

According to Nihon Shoki, he was a son of Emperor INGYOs and Ankos brother from the same mother. He was the father of the Emperor Seinei, who was his Crown Prince. He ruled in rabbit, Nara Prefecture today.

His character was stern and strong. According to these documents, he murdered his own relatives himself, his two brothers and a cousin, whose two sons were subsequently Emperor Kenzo and Kaiser Ninken. There probably was a dispute over the throne after Anko was murdered.
