Emrecan AfacanoÄŸlu

Emrecan Afacanoğlu (* 15 March 1991 in Izmir) is a Turkish footballer who currently plays for Bergama Belediyespor.

Career

Association

Afacanoğlu began with the club football in the youth of the amateur club Turgutreis Belediyespor. In 2006 he moved to the youth of Bergama Gençlerbirliği and a year later to Bucaspor. Here he received a professional contract in June 2010, but was still predominantly used in youth. Parallel to his work he was used if necessary in the pros. So he made in the 2008 /09 five league games for the professionals. At season's end, his team reached the championship of the TFF Lig 2 and hence the rise in the TFF 1 Lig In the following season he won the runner-up of the TFF 1 Lig and thus promotion to the Süper Lig The season 2010/11 he played exclusively for the reserve team. In the season 2011/12 he was reinstated in the pros. During his time in the pros in the 2011/12 season he played for the reserve team and was able to reach the runner-up with this in the TFF A2 Ligi.

In the season 2012/13 Afacanoğlu was loaned to Bergama Belediyespor. After einerr season his loan contract was renewed for another season.

Afacanoğlu went through from the Turkish U-17 and U-18 national teams.
