Enchufe.tv
Enchufe.TV is an Ecuadorian web series, produced by the production company Touché film from Quito. The show consists of sketches, released on the Youtube channel of the production company and the Ecuadorian television channel Ecuavisa.
History and Development
2011, the Ecuadorian filmmaker Leonardo Robalino, Christian Moya, Martín Domínguez and Jorge Ulloa were dissatisfied with the condition of audiovisual productions in their country. They decided, therefore, to begin a production humorous Kurzfilmƒe and publish on the Internet. In November of the same year of operation of the Youtube channel was started.
Program
The skits, which have a duration of four to five minutes are usually published weekly on Sundays on the internet. The so-called MicroYAPA so short skits with a duration of ten to 60 seconds, Tuesdays published. Thursday will see a preview of upcoming skits. The sketches reflect the Ecuadorian daily life. They deal with issues like the irony of personal experiences, popular sayings, Ecuadorian traditions and family and love. This Enchufe.TV quickly found appeal in Ecuador and the Latin American region.
Success
In September 2013, the YouTube channel had more than four million subscribers by Enchufe.TV and was on average a million times visits per day. It is listed on rank 49 of the world's largest YouTube channels. According to statistics, came in mid-2013 most of the audience from Mexico, followed by Colombia, Peru and Ecuador. On November 3, 2013, received a Golden Enchufe.TV Play, an award for Youtube channels with more than 1 million subscribers.
