Endymion (crater)

Endymion is an impact crater on the northeastern edge of the moon 's front panel. To the east lies the Mare Humboldtianum. It is located east of Mare Frigoris. The rim has terracing. The crater floor is level.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 by the young shepherd Endymion of Greek mythology.
