ENEC Mark

ENEC ( European Norms Electrical Certification) is a symbol which certifies the conformity with the European safety standards.

ENEC method

Producers and distributors show with the ENEC mark that they offer products under the European safety standards and thus with low licensing costs can in case of dispute fend off claims by consumers from product liability. The ENEC process controls the Europe-wide, recognized by all participating States certificate of conformity. It documents the continued conformity with standards ENEC certified products. These include:

• Household appliances, electronic devices and lights
• Compliance with EU Low Voltage Directive

Testing and certification carried out according to European standards. The manufacturing of the product by an accredited inspection body as Electro Suisse or - checked by an equal partner organization, thus ensuring a constant conformity of the product - for foreign production sites.
