Entenstein Castle

Castle Entenstein is a moated castle in the center of Schliengen, in the district of Lörrach in Baden- Württemberg.

History

The origins of the castle can not be backdated beyond doubt. The first use of a building at this point goes back to Walter of Schliengen in the year 821. Any use of the residential tower might already have been possible in the year 1000.
