Envision EMI

The Global Young Leaders Conference is held annually, two-week meeting of young people from around the world who are considered to be future leaders. The aim of the conference is to provide appropriate leadership skills in a global context.

Participant

The participants are 16-18 years old and come from throughout the world. They are selected by their school because of their leader and proposed to participate or determined by performance-based selection process. On the GYLC them given the opportunity to interact with some of the most important leaders of the world together to actively participate in simulations of international politics and get to know new people and cultures. Here are valuable experience passed and leadership skills are strengthened.

Carrier

The project is organized by the Congressional Youth Leadership Council GYLC ( CYLC ). This is a non-profit, non-partisan educational organization that was founded in 1985 and located in Washington, DC is located. It is part of Envision EMI, LLC, which has its headquarters in Vienna. To date, more than 200,000 young people have participated from over 100 different countries in the programs of the CYLC. CYLC is a non- profitable organization whose aim is to support young people and enable them to contact and experience with young people from all over the world.

The main program (Core Program) of the conference consists of three components ( " three S"):

In the remaining time to be in the so-called Leadership Group Meeting ( LGM ) prepared daily points, nachbesprochen, or planned other activities. Each LGM group represents a specific country in the simulations and is supervised by one Faculty Advisor ( FA).
