Epsilon Draconis

ε Draconis ( Epsilon Draconis ) is a star of spectral type K0 and has an apparent magnitude of 3.8 mag. It is about 146 light-years away ( Hipparcos database). ε Draconis is already in telescopes from about 10 centimeters lens aperture resolvable double star. The only 7.3 like bright companion is located at an angular distance of 3.2 " at a position angle of 21 degrees. He is of spectral type K5.

The star bears the historical proper names Tyl and Kin Yu (Chinese for "Goldfish ").
