Epsilon Volantis

Epsilon Volantis ( ε v / ε Volantis ) is a triple star system in the constellation of Flying Fish. The system is about 642 light-years away from Earth. In Epsilon Volantis is orbiting two stars and a bright 4.5 may only 8 likes faint star in an apparent distance of 6.1 arc seconds. The two stars of the component Epsilon Volantis A is a spectroscopic binary and, with the companion Epsilon Volantis B a system with an orbital period of about 14.17 days. Epsilon Volantis A, is a blue-white B-type subgiant.
