Erdal Keser

Ali Erdal Keser ( born June 20, 1961 in Sivas ) is a former football player and coach.

Playing career

Erdal Keser grew up in Hagen (Westphalia ) and lives there with his wife and two children. He spent 16 years working as a professional football player, among other things for Borussia Dortmund, Galatasaray and the Turkish national football team. In his youth Keser played for SSV Hagen. After his playing days, he trained as a soccer coach, at the same time he was assistant coach of the Turkish national team. In spring 2006, he put in four years as technical director of the Turkish Football Association for the time being its last function in professional football down to pursue other opportunities. Among other things he cares about the expansion of medical care in Turkey.

Coaching career

From 2007 to 2009 he assisted the Belgian coach Eric Gerets at Galatasaray Istanbul as his assistant coach and interpreter.

Further remarks

Erdal Keser was until 2001 Europe Coordinator of the Turkish FV, board member of the Hospital Avisenna AG ( project for a modern supply in Turkey). Since 1 June 2002, he is patron of the parents help for children with Rett syndrome.
