Eric Bazilian

Eric Bazilian ( born July 21, 1953 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) is an American musician, songwriter, arranger and producer and founding member of the rock band The Hooters.

Life

Eric Bazilian began with five years of playing the piano, with nine earned him an uncle play guitar. He plays numerous other instruments such as mandolin, saxophone, keyboard, melodica. He first played in a band called Evil Seed before he met at the University of Pennsylvania on Rob Hyman, with whom he founded two less successful bands called Wax and Baby Grand - the latter released two albums on Arista Records.
