Eric Camerota

Eric Camerota ( born January 9, 1985 in Salt Lake City ) is an American nordic combined.

Camerota made ​​his international debut in 2002 in the B- Nordic Combined World Cup. At the Junior World Championship 2003 in Sollefteå he reached Gundersen in the 41st place and with the team to seventh place. A year later, at the Junior World Championship 2004 in Stryn he succeeded in the sprint, a ninth place in the Gundersen fifth place. In team competition, he reached the 10th place jointly with the team. On 30 December 2004, he made ​​his debut in the World Cup Nordic Combined. Already in his first World Cup he reached the 30th place winning a World Cup point. After the Nordic World Ski Championships 2005 in Oberstdorf, he had to leave with rear placements and could shortly reach front places at the Junior World Championships in Rovaniemi. It was not until the 2006/07 season he achieved his breakthrough. Previously, he had reached the 39th place in the sprint at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin.
