Brett Camerota

Brett Camerota ( born January 9, 1985 in Salt Lake City ) is an American nordic combined.

Camerota, who goes to the starting line for the Park City Nordic Ski Club, made ​​his international debut in 2002 in B- World Cup. At the Junior World Championship 2003 in Sweden Sollefteå he reached the sprint to 29 in Gundersen and the 21th Place. With the team he reached the 7th place in the mass start competition. A year later in Stryn he could not achieve these results. Also at the Junior World Championship 2005 in Rovaniemi, he missed the 2003 results significantly. After he subsequently improved its results in B- World Cup towards the best ten, he announced on 29 January 2006 made ​​his debut in the World Cup Nordic Combined. At the Olympic Winter Games in 2006 he went despite the lack of top results at the start and finished in 38th place in the Gundersen. After the games, he started again in B- World Cup before he went to the year 2006/ 07 again in the World Cup at the start. He reached several placings in the points, so in the end he finished the season in 50th place overall. In the Nordic World Ski Championships 2007 in Sapporo Camerota reached the 31st place in the Gundersen. Two years later at the 2009 World Championships in Liberec Camerota was only on the 54th. In the 2009/10 season, he could rarely get good results. Despite that he was part of the squad for the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver. He won jointly with Todd Lodwick, Johnny Spillane and Bill Demong in the team competition the silver medal. In some of the normal hill Camerota reached the 36th place. The 2009/10 season he finished at the 56th place in the overall World Cup standings.

Brett Camerota is the twin brother of the combiner Eric Camerota.
