Erich Jahn

Erich Jahn ( born July 23, 1907 † unknown ) was a German Hitler Youth leader.

Jahn was the son of a printing company owner. After attending primary school, he completed a printing apprenticeship. In his youth Jahn began to engage in circles of the extreme political right: After he had worked for years in Bismarck Bund, he joined the Nazi Party in 1929. In the party he took over official tasks in the Hitler Youth, in which he quickly took a leading role. Baldur von Schirach appointed Jahn 1931 field leader of the main HJ- area, the area of Greater Berlin, the Jahn board until 16 November 1934.

On November 16, 1934 Jahn was appointed to the staff of the Reich Youth Leadership and instructed " to safeguard the interests of the state youth care as part of the HJ at the National Youth Agency in Berlin ". His previous position as field leader of Greater Berlin Artur Axmann was transferred.
