Erich Karkoschka

Erich Karkoschka ( born November 6, 1955 in Stuttgart) is an astronomer and mathematician at the Lunar and Planetary Laboratory of the University of Arizona in Tucson and nonfiction author. His father, Erhard Karkoschka was a noted musicologist at the Musikhochschule Stuttgart.

He discovered the Uranus moon Perdita ( original designation S/1986 U 10 ) to shoot images of the space probe Voyager 2 photographs from the Huygens probe Karkoschka created a movie landing on Saturn's moon Titan.
