Erik Madigan Heck

Erik Madigan Heck ( born September 9, 1983 in Excelsior, Minnesota) is an American photographer who is best known for his fashion photographs.

Life

Heck began back in his school days to shooting, after he was already familiar with as a child by his parents with the art in the galleries and museums of the neighboring Minneapolis, Minnesota. In 2002, he was the senior in high school by the American Alliance for Young Artists & Writers in the Scholastic Art Awards, a gold medal for his photographic work.

Heck is co-founder and editor of the quarterly photography magazine Nomenus Quarterly and correspondent for the A Magazine. In 2012, he was responsible for the Photo Art of Fashion campaign of the department store chain Neiman Marcus in Dallas, Texas. In the same year he photographed fashion creations for the Greek, living in London and working fashion designer Mary Katrantzou.
