Erika Marozsán

Erika Marozsán ( born August 3, 1972 in Újfehértó ) is a Hungarian actress.

Life and work

Marozsán visited about ten years, the Ballet Institute in Budapest and then the Academy of Film and Acting Budapest, which she finished in 1995. Shortly thereafter she became a member of the ensemble of Új Színház ( New Theatre ) in Budapest. From there she moved to the theater Kaposvar, at which it operates to this day.

Her first movie role she played in the Hungarian film success " Béketárgyalás, avagy az évszázad csütörtökig tart " ( peace negotiations or this century lasts only until Thursday), which was completed in 1989. She next starred primarily in Hungarian films. Since her success in the film A Song of Love and Death - Gloomy Sunday, in which she starred alongside Joachim Król, Ben Becker, Stefano Dionisi and Sebastian Koch, the main role of Ilona, she turns mainly abroad. She appeared in numerous German television dramas, for example, they on the side of Tom Berenger in the action movie Sniper 2 The film One Day Crossing, where they participated was also nominated in 2001 for an Oscar.
