Erki Pehk

Erki Pehk ( born March 23, 1968 in Võru, Estonia) is an Estonian conductor.

Life and Music

Erki Pehk attended from 1982 to 1986, the renowned music school (Estonian Tallinna Muusikakeskkool ) of the Estonian capital, with a focus on piano and conducting.

He studied from 1986 to 1993, the choral conducting at Ants Üleoja at the Estonian Academy of Music ( Eesti Muusikaakadeemia ) in Tallinn. At the same time he studied orchestral conducting with Peeter Lilje and from 1992 to 1994 Paul Mägi at the Latvian Academy of Music in Riga.

Since 1994, Erki Pehk conductor of the Estonian National Opera in Tallinn.
