Erland and The Carnival

Erland and The Carnival are a British folk-rock band.

History

The band was formed in London in 2008 and took their first recordings on. Head of the band 's multi-instrumentalist Simon Tong ( Blur, The Good, the Bad & the Queen). The band's sound here is strongly geared to the psychedelic rock of the 1960s and 1970s mixed with circus and folk elements.

Nationwide awareness gained Erland and The Carnival 2010 with their self-titled debut album and the lead single You Do not Have to Be Lonely. 2011 their second album, Nightingale, which is characterized by significantly darker melodies and psychedelic synth parts.
