Erland Van Lidth De Jeude
Erland van Lidth ( born June 3, 1953 in Hilversum, North Holland, Netherlands as Erland van de Lidth Jeude, † September 23, 1987 in Manhattan, New York City ) was an American actor of Dutch descent.
Van Lidth emigrated with his family in the late 1950s to the United States. He studied from 1972 to 1976 at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. In 1979 he was discovered in a New York fitness club and then played in the movie The Wanderers the role of terror.
Van Lidth was married to Annette Friend and had a child out of this relationship. He died in 1987 in Manhattan of heart failure.
