Ernest Webb

Ernest Webb ( Ernest James " Ernie " Webb, born April 25, 1874 London Borough of Hackney, † February 24, 1937 in Toronto, Canada ) was a British touring.

At the Olympic Games in London in 1908, he won over 3,500 m, walking and in a ten -mile track walk, respectively the silver medal behind his compatriot George Larner.

In 1912 he won at the Olympic Games in Stockholm another silver medal in the 10,000 meter walk behind the Canadians George Goulding.

From 1908-19010, he was three times. Consecutive British champion in seven-league Track Walk, 1909 and 1910, also in the two-mile track walk
