Ernesto Ambrosini

Ernesto Ambrosini (born 29 September 1894 in Monza, † November 4, 1951 ) was an Italian athlete who was successful in the early 1920s. He specializes in the 3000 m steeplechase, but also appeared as a runner over the medium and long- haul in appearance.

Between 1919 and 1924 he participated as a member of Brescia Calcio annually to the Italian national championships, scoring the following placements:

  • Seventh over 800 m ( 2:02,6 min)

In addition, he participated in two Olympic Games: 1920 in Antwerp and Paris in 1924.

In Antwerp he started more than 800 m, 3,000 m steeplechase, as well together with Augusto Maccario, Carlo Speroni and Carlo Martinenghi in the team race over 3000 meters.
