Ernst Ogris

Ernst Ogris ( born December 9, 1967 in Vienna ) is a retired Austrian football player.

The younger brother of Austria- Vienna legend Andreas Ogris played from 1986 to his brother's side when the violets in the Bundesliga, but was awarded to the St. Pölten VSE in the spring of 1988. After two years, St. Pölten Ernst Ogris came to Southtown for FC Admira / Wacker. The Admira Africans he played in the OFB Cup final and came in some European Cup games to use, so he was also appointed team manager Alfred Riedl in the national team. In his only international appearance against Denmark in Odense (1:2) on 5 June 1991 he also shot a goal. He was bound by Hertha BSC in 1993, which still holds today the rumor that the then venerable board of the Berlin mistook him for his brother Andrew. He scored seven goals in his first season in 21 second division games. In the winter of 1994/95 he returned to Austria and played some time with Admira / Wacker and since then in several small Viennese clubs, most recently in the 2008/09 season at KSC / FCB Danube city. From 2008 to 2010 he was a coach at SV Donau in Vienna's city league and after the descent in the Vienna Oberliga B. From the 2012/2013 season he coached the Weinviertler amateur club SV Göllersdorf. Since October 22, 2012 he is head coach of FC Kapellerfeld in Vienna Oberliga B.
