Ernst Rückert

Ernst Rückert (born 20 December 1886 in Berlin, † after January 1950; native Anton Ernst Rücker [without t] ) was a German actor.

Life

Rückert began his theater career in 1908 and was among others in Bleicherode, Königsberg and Kiel on the stage. In 1910 he joined an engagement at the theater at Luis in Berlin.

Since 1910 he was a sought-after silent film actor, initially consistently in lead roles. In 1912, he starred in the movie in night and ice the first officer of the Titanic. From 1914 to 1917 he took part in the First World War. Subsequently, he continued his film career and continued to receive major roles and key supporting roles.

In the 1930s, Rückert was the film actor to the batch, and also at the theater he only rarely been engaged as 1933, the natural stage Maerkisches Museum. In 1940 he was drafted in the season 1941/42, he was engaged as an actor and director at the Berlin touring theater Gastspieldirektion IX. Most recently, he was assigned to the KdF - front theater.
