Ernst Träger

Ernst carriers ( born January 29, 1926 in Künzelsau ) was from 1977 to 1989 Judge at the Federal Constitutional Court.

After completing his legal education, support came in 1954 in the judicial service of the State of Baden- Württemberg, where he worked as a civil and criminal judge in various uses, most recently as a judge at the Higher Regional Court of Karlsruhe.

After he was repeatedly seconded as a research assistant at the Federal Prosecutor and the Federal Constitutional Court, support was in 1972 federal prosecutor and was appointed judge of the Federal Court in 1976.

The following year, he was appointed a judge of the Federal Constitutional Court, whose second Senate until his employment belonged support in retirement. Successor to his post was Klaus Winter.

Ernst carrier was awarded the Grand Cross of Merit with Star and Sash of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany, and in 1989 with the Commander's Cross with Star of Gregory the Great.
