Erwin-Josef Speckmann
Erwin -Josef Speckmann ( born April 25, 1939 in Münster ) is a German neurophysiologist and sculptor.
After Habilitation in Physiology 1969, he was appointed associate professor in 1972 and a year later a professor at the University of Münster. From 1986 until his retirement in 2005 he was a professor of neurophysiology at the Institute of Physiology of the University of Münster. 1974/75 and 1988/89 he was president of the German EEG Society. Since 1979 he is co-editor of epilepsy leaves.
In addition to his scientific work, he has worked as a sculptor.
