Erzurumspor

Erzurumspor Kulübü or short Erzurumspor is a Turkish football club based in Erzurum, who currently plays in the second-highest Turkish amateur league. The club played in the 1990s and 2000s, a total of three seasons in the Süper Lig and is located in the Eternal table at the 53rd place. His club colors are blue and white. History

Association was founded

The club was founded in 1968. A year later, the club participated in the newly introduced third highest office in the Turkish professional football game, the third Türkiye Futbol Ligi, in part.

Promotion to the top Turkish league

After the club since its inception alternates in the second-highest and third-highest Turkish League, TFF 1 Lig TFF or 2 Lig, worked, the club in the second division season 1997/98 the first successful second league championship in club history. Through this championship the club for the first time rose in his club history in the highest Turkish league, in the Süper Lig on. Here they played for three seasons, the club always fought against relegation. Freefall and club closure

From the mid- 2000s, the club had to deal with serious financial problems. In the third League 2008/09 season the club started with the club President Cevdet Tamgaç. This stepped back into the winter break from his office because he assessed the situation of the association hopeless. As Tamgaç ' successor Coşkun Aslan was chosen. Under this president, the club most of the players had to let to other clubs due to liquidity problems. Thus, the second round was contested with only 18 players, with most of these players were brought out of the reserve and youth team. With this squad, the team reached a 1-1 draw away against 1461 Trabzon on the final day yet in the league.

After this little incident success the situation worsened in the next season on. so the team could not compete arrival for the away game 4th Round against Kirsehirspor. The referee these encounters decided according to the Rules and canceled the game. Kirsehirspor was recorded by law with 0:3 as the winner. The remaining part of the first round took the club despite severe financial problems in league play and took part with two points far behind in last place. Of the five draws obtained from five points to three points deducted by the national football association. At the first meeting of the season, this time at home against Kizilcahamamspor, the club could also impose any team and lost by law again with 0:3. On 31 March 2010, the away game against Karsspor has also not been taken up. So decided a little later the disciplinary committee ( PFDK ) of the national football association, with respect to its regulations to leave the relegated club with immediate effect in the third TFF Lig. All remaining meetings of the association were canceled and decided in advance with a 0-3 defeat.

For the Fourth League 2010/11 season, the club received a license due to financial problems of the national football association. Then the dissolution of some industries were decided in a general meeting. After the team did not compete in the first two games of the season, a little later ruled the disciplinary committee ( PFDK ) of the national football association, with respect to its regulations to allow the club relegated with immediate effect in the Bölgesel Amatör Ligi. In the same year the club was closed.
