ESF Women's Championship
The Softball Championship is an international softball tournament between national teams. The tournament will be played by the European Softball Federation (ESF European Softball Federation). The official name of the tournament is the European Softball Women Division A Championship.
The tournament is held every two years and usually was disputed until 2009, about 10 participants. For Softball Championship 2011, all group matches will be the first time locally centered in a major tournament to be played so as to involve more than 20 nations.
Record winner of the Softball European Championship is the team of Italy, current title holder, the Netherlands.
