Eskimo Nebula

The Eskimo Nebula ( also known as NGC 2392 ) is a planetary nebula in the constellation Gemini. It has a size of 0.8 '× 0.7 ' and an apparent brightness of 9.1 mag and is therefore easy to observe with small telescopes.

The fog was created about 10,000 years ago, when the sun around large central star has its outer shell ejected by an eruption. The distance to the Eskimo Nebula is about 5,000 light-years.
