Esmael Mangudadatu
Ismael " Toto " Mangudadatu ( born August 15, 1968) is Deputy Mayor of Buluan.
Attracted international attention his candidacy in the massacre in Maguindanao, where 57 people died. They include his wife, his sisters, his attorney, some of his advisers and several journalists were. He drove himself due to threats against not with the convoy.
Four days after the incident he visited the sites of the kidnapping and killings.
Despite these incidents he had in the company of soldiers, a police commander and a General officially filed his candidacy.
On 10 May 2010 he was elected governor of Maguindanao province.
