The École supérieure de physique et de chimie de la ville de Paris industrial ( ESPCI, or PC; German Academy of Applied Physics and Chemistry of the city of Paris ) is an engineering school, which is ranked among the Grande écoles of France. It belongs to the merger ParisTech.

The elite school founded in 1882, is located in the Latin Quarter of Paris and offers the students within four years, a comprehensive technical and practical training at the highest level. Among the founding fathers include the Strasbourg chemist Paul Schützenberger and Charles Lauth.

After two years of preparation for specific lessons (→ Classe préparatoire ) access to the beneficiaries under the candidates by a selection of the École polytechnique determined.
