BEM Management School

BEM - Bordeaux Management School ( French- anglizistisch: Bordeaux Ecole de Management, BEM) is a company incorporated in 1874 under the name École Supérieure de Commerce de Bordeaux French Grande école which is managed and financed by the Chamber of Commerce of Bordeaux. The campus is located since 1969 in Talence politically eigenständischen suburb on the southern outskirts of Bordeaux.

History

The Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Bordeaux was founded in 1874 in Bordeaux and was one of the first educational institutions that offered practical training programs in the field of corporate governance in France. With the EQUIS accreditation in 2000 she received the name of Bordeaux Ecole de Management and since 2007 is its name BEM - Bordeaux Management School. 2008 in Dakar, Senegal, a branch was opened in 2009 and expanded it to Paris. The merger with the Graduate School of Management ( Grande Ecole de Commerce ) Euromed Management was announced officially on 17 January 2012; they should be completed during the year 2013. BEM today offers twelve management courses at Bachelor and Master level.

Collaboration with the Commercial

The BEM works with many companies to ensure the practical content of the training and to provide graduates a network available. These include, inter alia, JP Morgan, Société Générale, Auchan, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Procter & Gamble, Ernst & Young, L' Oréal and BNP Paribas.

Accreditations

BEM was accredited in 2000 by EQUIS. BEM is also next to AMBA, AACSB and Global Compact accredited.
