Esporte Clube Novo Hamburgo

The Esporte Clube Novo Hamburgo is located in the interior of a football club from the city of Novo Hamburgo in the Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Sul, about 40 km north of the capital Porto Alegre. The colors of the club are white and indigo, (Portuguese; Anil ). The association is therefore sometimes called Anilado. Another name is Noia. The association has set up an unbroken football tradition since its founding in 1911, 1979 was also a participant in the Brazilian soccer championship in the highest power level.

History

The shoe manufacturer Pedro Filho Adams held on the occasion of Labour Day on May 1, 1911, its staff a barbecue from. From the original Adams Futebol Clube called club, but soon mutated on Sport Club Novo Hamburgo for Esporte Clube Novo Hamburgo arose.

After the war, entering Brazil 1944, largely for the amendment of names and terms reminiscent of the Axis powers. The city of Novo Hamburgo was thereby renamed Marechal Floriano Peixoto. The club was called after Esporte Clube Floriano and reverted in 1968 to its previous name.

From 1942 to 1952, the club was in one of his more successful phases and in those years was five times runner-up at the state championship of Rio Grande do Sul. However, the first title was the city championship of Porto Alegre in 1937. By winning this title Novo Hamburgo also prevented the collection for the first time a team from the capital to the games to the state championship, the Campeonato Gaúcho. Stadium

The stadium currently has a capacity of 4,000 spectators. After the final phase, the stadium will provide a total of 12,000 spectators place.
