Essi Sainio

Essi Sainio Katriina ( born September 9, 1986 in Helsinki) is a Finnish football player. The midfielder plays for the German club SC Freiburg and for the Finnish national team.

Career

She began her career at the age of nine years at FC Kasiysi Espoo. About the FC Espoo, FC Honka Espoo, she moved to the 2005 season to HJK Helsinki. With HJK she was Finnish champion. On June 5, 2006, she made ​​her debut in the Finnish national team in the match against Belgium.
