The Estadio Carlos Belmonte, the municipal stadium of the Spanish city of Albacete in the eponymous province in the autonomous community of Castile -La Mancha. Here, the football club Albacete Balompié receives his opponents. It offers 17,300 spectators seats today.

History

Opened on September 9, 1960 stadium with 12,000 seats was still equipped with a track and field facility and unüberdacht. The name goes back to the former mayor, who was also an architect and designed the stadium. In 1970, the grandstand was covered and placed floodlights. After Albacete in 1991 ascended to the first division, the sports complex has been completely renovated and the building of a new grandstand expanded to 15,000 seats.

In 1998 they managed by the lowering of the pitch additional spectator seats. The standing room were converted into seats. The locker rooms were renovated and installed a video surveillance system. To the south of the city center, the stadium are a campus of the University of Castilla -La Mancha and the municipal swimming pool. Behind the grandstand are four tennis courts and a synthetic turf football field.
